How many miles were on your truck when you bought it? Sweet rig

Got the falken wildpeak at3w over the wildpeak trail BECAUSE the at3w was several lbs lighter in the same size. Like over 3-4lbs I think. That factors in. I have 2 Subarus and a Hyundai Sante fe sport. Got the falken wildpeak AT3w’s in 235/65/17 on it. It has a severely underpowered 2.4L GDI 4 cylinder. Even with the at3w tires I noticed a difference in performance from the factory light weight all season tires that came on it. Gas mileage took a hit too. I always look at tire weight when purchasing tires. Tires in the same size can range 10lbs depending on which they are.

Wow, super rig. It is always a balancing act in life. I have unfortunately aged out of a lot of the heavier auto mechanic work. Without my soulmate, who passed a little over a year ago, I am going back to more outdoors oriented travel. I guess you can take the backpacker, out of the backcountry and do more civilized travel, but left to our own devices, we gravitate back to our dirt bag roots 😂. All our recreational vehicles and gear have always been pay as you go. It is a blessing because, living below our income has helped us be secure in retirement. I didn't have to go back to work when my husband passed suddenly, and I did not have to sale stuff off to get by. I have been able to spend time with my 90+ Mother and help her when she needs something. I have had time downsizing for when I no longer need to live in the city. Getting away on adventures and to finish the PCT, is still doable, with planning budgeting. Life is short, get out there and have experiences. Safe travels.

Absolutely loved the Truck! Ive been struggling to figure out a camping setup and I', heavily leaning towards something along these lines and I really appreciate that this is something that the majority of us can do and afford. It get old seeing sponsored build after sponsored build of a Rig built by 'Friends' with 50k-100k in gear and accessories, and equipment.

I think I met Sadie last month while I was out at the South Fork camping for the night. She was photographing an engagement couple. She mentioned a Go Fast RTT on a Tacoma (I have a RTT on my Tundra). I assume it was her after watching this. 😊

What I like most about your channel is your humble attitude towards what you have. Some people will have a build and gear that’s 10 times more expensive but won’t do the things or the adventures you do. You are blessed my friend.

I should start a channel. I'm planning to avoid all fuels for the simple reason that I don't need to bring along tanks of propane for cooking, or gas for lanterns, or even gas for my car. EV camping and solar panels means you can run your AC/heat on your car all night with no noise or fumes, and solar panels means you can recharge an Ecoflow and cook with it, cooling fans, electric blankets for heat. Jackery's are weak, and so are Ecoflow Rivers. Get a Delta so you can run +1000w devices like electric stoves for cooking.
